Grand Celebration of Guru Purnima at Maharishi Institutions

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: On the auspicious occasion of Shri Guru Purnima, disciples honor their Guru by dedicating their achievements and seeking blessings. This festival, rooted in the ancient Vedic tradition, highlights the vital role of the Guru in spiritual and personal development. Param Pujya Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji dedicated his accomplishments to Anant Shri Vibhushit Jyotishpeethoddharak Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, the esteemed Shankaracharya of Jyotishpeeth Badrikashram. Continuing this tradition, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji will present his yearly accomplishments at the feet of Shri Gurudev and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji on July 10,the day of Shri Guru Purnima.

This year, the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Sansthan will host a two-day festival on July 9 and 10, with celebrations led by Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji. The festival will begin on July 9 with a musical Bhajan Amrit program at 3:30 PM at the Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram in Bhopal, featuring renowned Bhajan singer Ms. Atri Kotal, accompanied by a talented group of musicians including Pandit Anoop Ghosh on Harmonium, Lalit Sisodia on Tabla, and Shri Amar Bhola on Dholak.

On July 10, the actual day of Shri Guru Purnima, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji will perform the traditional Guru Pujan ceremony and present the Maharishi Sansthan's achievements to Shri Gurudev and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, expressing gratitude and respect.

Notable guests, including former Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma and Dr. Prakash Joshi, Vice President of Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan, will address attendees on the significance of the Guru and the educational contributions of the Sansthan. Additionally, Madhusudan Deshpande, Director of the Maharishi Multi Specialty Ayurveda Health Awareness Program, will emphasize health and wellness in spiritual practice.

Throughout the festival, all 153 Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools and affiliated institutions will dedicate their achievements to Shri Guru and seek blessings for success in the upcoming year, reinforcing the community's commitment to learning and spiritual growth.
