Youth power at the core of India’s ‘reform express’, says PM Modi
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday shared glimpses of his address delivered at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 held in the national capital, highlighting the role of India’s youth in driving creativity, reforms and national confidence.
In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister said that over the last 11 years, new opportunities have opened across every sector of the country, including content creation and the creative economy. He said India’s young people can bring epics such as the Ramayana and Mahabharata into the gaming world, turning India’s cultural heritage into a global creative force.
The Prime Minister noted that India’s next-generation reforms have now turned into a “reform express”, with youth power at its core. He said young Indians are central to building a developed India and shaping the country’s future across sectors.
PM Modi also called on the youth to move beyond a mindset shaped by colonial thinking and take pride in India’s heritage and ideas. Referring to Swami Vivekananda, he said the great thinker’s life continues to inspire Indians to place their culture and original ideas at the forefront while engaging with the modern world.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 brought together young leaders from across the country to discuss ideas, innovation and India’s path towards becoming a developed nation.
