Pakistan carries out aerial strikes in Kabul
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Pakistan carried out airstrikes on several bases of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, on Thursday night. According to Pakistani media, the air force claimed to have killed TTP chief Maulana Noor Wali Mehsud.
Pakistani media reports state that Mehsud was at a base in eastern Kabul. He has been leading the TTP since 2018 and is accused of operating in Afghanistan with the support of the Taliban.
Pakistan conducted the airstrikes on Kabul at a time when Taliban government’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi is on a seven-day visit to India. He will stay in India for seven days.
Meanwhile, TOLO News reported receiving an audio message from Mehsud in which he claimed that no attack took place on him.
