Sensex reclaims 82,000-mark
MUMBAI [Maha Media]: Indian equity markets closed on a positive note for the sixth straight session on Thursday, August 21, 2025. The Sensex closed at 82,000.71 points, registering gains of 142.87 points or 0.18%. While, the Nifty also ended the day on a positive note, rising to 25,083.75.
Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Reliance, LT, BEL, Titan, Maruti, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, TCS, HDFC Bank, etc were among the stocks that helped the Sensex close in green for the 6th straight time on Thursday.
On the sectoral front, the Nifty Pharma and Healthcare indices were the highest gainers.
