Sensex trading 300 point higher at 81,600
MUMBAI [Maha Media]: On the first trading day of the week today, Monday, August 25, Sensex is trading at 81,600 level with a gain of 300 points. Nifty is also up 100 points, trading at 24,960 level.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 24 are up and 6 are down. Infosys, Tech Mahindra and TCS are gaining. ICICI, HDFC and Bajaj Finserv shares are declining.
Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 39 are up and 11 are down. All indices except NSE's media index are gaining. IT is up nearly 2%. Realty, Metal and Pharma are also gaining.
