Sensex slumps 960 points, Nifty ends at 25,179
MUMBAI [Maha Media]: The Nifty 50 ended 1.22 per cent or 311.85 points down at 25,178.65, and the Sensex ended 961.42 points or 1.17 per cent down at 81,287.19.
Broader markets also fell in line with the benchmark indices. The Nifty MidCap and the Nifty SmallCap indices ended 1.14 per cent and 1.10 per cent down, respectively.
