CM Yadav to transfer Rs 1,541 cr to Ladli Bahnas today
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will lead a State-level event on Thursday in Petlawad, Jhabua district, from where he will transfer over Rs 1,541 crore as the 28th installment to more than 1.26 crore women beneficiaries under the Ladli Bahna Yojana via single-click transfer.
Additionally, under social security pension schemes, over Rs 320.89 crore will be disbursed to 53.48 lakh pension beneficiaries. The Chief Minister will also transfer over Rs 48 crore towards LPG refill subsidies to more than 31 lakh women registered under both the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and the Ladli Bahna Yojana, including beneficiaries from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), providing Rs 450 per beneficiary.
The event will also include the inauguration and foundation laying of over 72 development projects worth Rs 345.34 crore in Jhabua district, including Rs 194.56 crore for 35 new projects and Rs 150.78 crore for 37 completed ones. CM Yadav will release the book ‘Jhabua ke Sanjeevak’, showcasing traditional tribal knowledge on herbal medicine. The book documents ancient healing practices through district and block-level workshops. Additionally, customised petrol-powered four-wheeler motorbikes will be distributed to 11 differently-abled BPL beneficiaries, reflecting the government’s inclusive development agenda.
