HM Shah to inaugurate key infrastructure projects in Gujarat

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a three-day visit to Gujarat beginning today. During his day visit, he will attend several programmes in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vav Tharad and Banaskantha. Mr Shah is also expected to inaugurate several key infrastructure and public amenity projects of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

According to the correspondent reports that Mr Shah will begin his day with the inauguration of Swadeshotsav, the event organised by Swadeshi Jagaran Manch at the GMDC Ground in Ahmedabad. Thereafter, the Minister is scheduled to address the NABARD-IAMAI Earth Summit 2025-26.

This two-day Summit focuses on the theme of ‘Empowering Rural Innovation for Global Change’ and the vital role of cooperative societies in India’s rural growth. Later, the Minister will dedicate several public amenities and civic projects in Gandhinagar, including a newly constructed Railway Overbridge and an Underbridge Sports Complex.

The Home Minister will also inaugurate a Primary Health Centre and several other public welfare projects in his Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. The Minister will also attend the closing ceremony of the Sansad Sports Festival, followed by the inauguration of the Ahmedabad Shopping Festival.
