PM Modi inaugurates Rs 9,700 cr projects in Gujarat

SURAT [Maha Media]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurates development and infrastructure projects valued at over Rs 9,700 crore during his visit to Dediapada in the tribal-dominated Narmada district.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Gujarat today for a one-day visit. From Surat Airport, he travelled by helicopter to Antroli, where he inspected the under-construction bullet train station and reviewed the progress of the project.

After the inspection, he departed for Dediapada, where he will take part in the celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda. On this occasion, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various infrastructure and development projects worth over Rs 9,700 crore and address a public gathering.

Due to uncertain weather conditions, Surat authorities have arranged both helicopter and road travel options for the Prime Minister.

PM Modi reached Dediapada in Narmada district and offered prayers at the Devmogra Mata temple. Devmogra Pandori Mata is worshipped as the Kuldevi (family deity) of tribal communities across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

After the temple visit, the Prime Minister’s roadshow began in Dediapada. Thousands of tribals lined the streets, and a cultural programme was also organised along the route.
