PM Modi on two-day Gujarat visit

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat on October 30 and 31, to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of infrastructure and development projects worth over Rs 1,140 crore in Ekta Nagar, Kevadia, today. The projects that will be inaugurated include the Birsa Munda Tribal University in Rajpipla, Vaman Vriksha Vatika, E-Bus Charging Depot and 25 Electric Buses. Further, Mr. Modi will lay the foundation stone of various projects, including the Museum of Royal Kingdoms of India, Sports Complex, Jetty Development near Shoolpaneshwar Ghat and Travelators at the Statue of Unity, among others. He will attend the National Unity Day celebrations at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia on October 31.

On October 30, PM Modi will arrive at Vadodara Airport at 4 PM, where he will be accorded a warm welcome. After a brief 15-minute halt at the airport, he will proceed to Kevadia by helicopter. However, if adverse weather conditions persist due to recent rainfall in Gujarat, the Prime Minister may travel to Kevadia by road instead.

During his stay, PM Modi will spend the night at the Circuit House in Kevadia, in its VVIP suite. Owing to security arrangements, the entire Circuit House has been vacated, and Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel have been deployed at the premises.

After attending the event in Kevadia, PM Modi will return to Vadodara Airport on October 31 and subsequently depart for Delhi.
