
MP: Ratlam RISE meet secures Rs 30,402 cr investment
RATLAM [Maha Media]: The MP RISE 2025 Conclave in Ratlam has attracted investment proposals worth Rs 30,402 crore, set to create 35,520 jobs, announced Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Friday. Addressing the Regional Industry, Skill, and Employment (RISE) Conclave, he highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s transformation into a hub for industrial innovation, with Ratlam emerging as a centre for skill, scale, and start-ups, moving beyond its traditional identity tied to sev, sarees, and gold.
The state government’s relentless efforts to foster development include a roadshow planned in Surat on June 29 to attract further investments. The conclave marked the inauguration and foundation-laying of 94 industrial units and clusters worth over Rs 2,012 crore, alongside the distribution of Rs 3,861 crore in loans to over 4 lakh beneficiaries for self-employment. Dr Yadav emphasised the State’s commitment to green energy, announcing subsidies for MSME units establishing renewable energy plants to promote environmental sustainability.
Financial incentives included Rs 270 crore distributed to 288 MSME units and Rs 425 crore to 140 large industrial units. Additionally, 538 MSME units received land allotment letters, and 35 large industrial units were given letters of intent. To enhance local infrastructure, Rs 50 lakh per gram panchayat was sanctioned for six villages near Ratlam’s Mega Investment Region to develop roads, community buildings, and essential facilities. The Chief Minister also announced a 220 KV power line for Ratlam’s industrial park, an astro-turf hockey ground, and a satellite town for the Kalika Mata complex, alongside plans for a large airstrip to boost connectivity.
