
VP, PM & other leaders pay homage to Nanaji Deshmukh
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda paid homage to Bharat Ratna Nanaji Deshmukh on his birth anniversary today.
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, in a social media post, said, Nanaji’s principles of selfless service continue to inspire everyone to serve the nation with honesty and dedication. He added that Nanaji Deshmukh dedicated his life to rural development and the upliftment of the poor. The Vice President further expressed hope that Nanaji’s legacy will continue to guide the nation towards building a prosperous and equitable India. Mr Radhakrishnan also paid floral tribute to Nanaji Deshmukh at the Vice-President’s Enclave.
In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that Nanaji Deshmukh was a visionary social reformer, nation builder, and lifelong advocate of self-reliance and rural empowerment. Mr Modi also said that Nanaji’s life was an embodiment of dedication, discipline, and service to society. He added that the contributions of Nanaji to rural development and nation-building will continue to inspire generations.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tributes to Bharat Ratna Nanaji Deshmukh on his birth anniversary, describing him as a great nationalist thinker and one of the founding members of the Jan Sangh. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that Nanaji Deshmukh played a remarkable role in organising the youth and inspiring them to participate in nation-building. He added that Nanaji dedicated his entire life to the upliftment of villages and to strengthening the ideological foundation that places the nation first at the core of governance.
BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda described Bharat Ratna Nanaji Deshmukh as an epochal figure, an ardent nationalist thinker, and a renowned social worker who dedicated his life to the upliftment of villages and the nation. In a social media post, Mr Nadda highlighted his lifelong mission to make India’s rural strength self-reliant. He said Nanaji’s efforts in spreading awareness about education and empowering rural communities remain truly commendable. Mr Nadda added that Nanaji’s commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged and exceptional organisational skills will continue to inspire millions of BJP workers across the country.
