Vijay Hazare Trophy Round 2: Raghuvanshi rushed to hospital

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Mumbai and KKR star Angkrish Raghuvanshi suffered a devastating injury to his shoulder and head while attempting to take a difficult catch, and had to be carried off the field on a stretcher during their game against Uttarakhand in Jaipur. Raghuvanshi has reportedly been taken to the hospital for scans.

In another game, Virat Kohli narrowly missed out on a second consecutive century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, but his knock of 77 for Delhi against Gujarat saw him surpass Australia legend Michael Bevan for the record of the highest List A batting average in cricket history. Kohli smashed 77 off 61 balls, while Delhi captain Rishabh Pant also impressed with a knock of 70.

Rinku Singh starred for Uttar Pradesh, smashing a 56-ball century against Chandigarh. However, Rohit Sharma failed to fire for Mumbai, shockingly getting out for a golden duck. 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi is not in action for Bihar, as he received the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar today, which is the highest civilian honour for children.
