Maharishi Institute celebrated Hanuman Janmotav with great devotion

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Shree Hanuman Jayanti, the birth celebration of Lord Hanuman is celebrated with great fervor and religious gaiety at Maharishi Utsav Bhawan, Shri Gurudev Brahmanand Sarawati Ashram, Chhan, Bhojpur Mandir Marg, Bhopal on Thursday. 

On this auspicious occasion, Hanuman Ji Janmotsav Poojan was performed by Brahmachari Girish Ji, the head of Maharishi Group of Educational Institutions with chanting of 121 Maharishi Vedic Pundits. 

An hour-long Hanuman Ji Janmotsav Poojan starts with the Pujan & Maha-Abhishek of Lord Hanuman followed by Maha-Aarti. Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor-Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, and other members of the Maharishi family were present in large numbers. Many people also watched this program online through various channels of Ram Raj TV.

Hanuman Jayanti is an important festival of Hindus and is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Hanuman, the 11th incarnation of Lord Shiva. Hanuman Jayanti falls on Chaitra Shukla Purnima (the March-April full moon day). In Hinduism, Lord Hanuman is seen as the symbol of strength and energy. 

According to the texts, Lord Hanuman had incarnated on earth as a part of Adidev Shiva to help Lord Shri Ram. Lord Hanuman is one of the most revered deities in Kalyuga. The worship of Lord Hanuman is preceded by observing purity as he followed the path of celibacy.
