Tapasya and Nishtha key to spiritual progress, says Acharya Tripathi Ji
PRAYAGRAJ [Maha Media]: Under the divine guidance of Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, a continuous recitation of the 1331 Rudrashtadhyayi and Havan have been conducted daily at the Maharshi Ashram since the beginning of the Prayagraj Mahakumbh.
Today on Friday, Vedic scholars performed these rituals at the Maharshi Ashram, situated on the banks of the Sangam in Arail, Prayagraj, seeking the blessings of Lord Rudra.
Complementing the daily recitation and Havan, the renowned Katha Vyas, Acharya Dr. Nilimp Tripathi, commenced the first day of the Shri Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran Kathamrit Pravah with melodious Kirtan and Bhajans. Acharya Tripathi Ji skillfully narrated the Katha with scriptural references, explaining the deep hidden meanings behind the divine plays of Maa Shakti which has been a source of inspiration for civilizations since times immemorial. He emphasized that Maa Shakti is the essence of the universe, the guiding light for all living beings, and the divine energy that triumphs over all obstacles. She represents the feminine energy of the Supreme Absolute, an unconquerable force. Acharya Tripathi Ji also shared numerous examples from ancient history to illustrate the significance and relevance of spirituality in contemporary society.
In his discourse, Acharya Nilimp Ji stated, "Whatever thoughts arise within us are inspired by Maa Bhagwati. And when these thoughts are expressed through our words, they achieve completeness. The purer the thought, the more potent its effect. How can someone who speaks impurely create a pure effect? Therefore, a ritual of purification is necessary. When a seeker undertakes spiritual practice (Sadhana), they must engage in rigorous penance (Tapasya). Without penance, one cannot attain God. Whatever power and skill an individual possesses is the result of their effort, penance, and devotion. If true devotion exists, then in any circumstance, you will persevere in your endeavors, and one day, you will certainly receive the blessings of supreme divine grace."
The Shri Devi Bhagwat Mahapurana Kathamrit Pravah will continue till February 12. All the events and programmes are being broadcast live on Ramraj TV. The live telecast is also available on Ramraj TV's YouTube and Facebook channels.
