Maharishi World Peace Movement celebrated 'Hariyali Teej'
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal – female wing of Maharishi World Peace Movement celebrated Hariyali Teej in a grand manner at Maharishi Vedic Sanskritik Kendra, Arera Colony on Wednesday.
The programme started with the introduction by Ms. Neha Sharma followed by Guru Pujan and Lighting of lamp. All the present members Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal also participated in Group meditation. Smt. Suman Yadav-District Secretary, Bhopal briefed about aims, objectives and activities of of the Maharishi World Peace Movement and Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal in her welcome speech. Dr Breeze Tirpathi-District President Bhopal and Chairperson of Rakshita Welfare Society greeted all for auspicious ‘Hariyali Teej’ and spoke about the importance of this festival for women. Dr Breeze further added that everyone should plant at least one tree on this festival every year.
Smt. Reeta Prakasham-State President, MP spoke about Maharishi Ji’s knowledge and adviced the audience to spread this knowledge as much as possible to create heaven on earth.
On this occasion, Mehendi competition and “Sing a Song” game was also organized. In Mehendi competition Smt. Niharika Saxena, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Ayodhya Nagar won the first prize and Smt.Renuka Sinha, Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence won the second prize. In “Sing a Song” game, Smt. Jyoti Shukla of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Ayodhya Nagar won the first prize and Smt.Punita Chaturvedi, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Ratanpur bagged the second prize.
Plantation was done at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Trilanga and 50 plants were planted.
The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Smt.Arya Nandkumar, National Secretary-Communication, Maharishi World Peace Movement.
