Devotion to Guru lead to progress: Brahmachari Girish Ji
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: “Param Pujya Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji used to say that he has only the knowledge and blessings given by Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj. With the inspiration of this knowledge and blessings, Maharishi Ji propagated Transcendental Meditation, Siddhi Programme and many other Vedic Techniques all over the world continuously for 51 years. And shared a truly priceless gift to all mankind for free. That too at a time when means of communication and transport were not in abundance.” These words were spoken by the Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon’ble Chairman Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group on the Sri Guru Purnima Mahotsav and 14th Foundation Day of Maharishi World Peace Movement.
Maharishi Sangathan celebrated Sri Guru Purnima with great enthusiasm and fervor at Maharishi Mangalam Bhavan, Hosangabad Road on Tuesday.
The programme started with Shri Guru Parampara Poojan and Vedic Shanti Path by Vedic Pundits. Addressing the gathering, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji said that today at around 6:00 am I received divine blessings of Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji. Gurudev blessed me with the fulfillment of new resolutions, which is an important achievement for all of us. Looking at today's environment, it seems that the effect and speed of Kalyug is very fast, so we have to move faster than the speed of Kalyuga. We have to make our consciousness such that it is not harmed in any way. Just as the wet grass does not catch fire when it is full of dew. When you have pure consciousness, then the restlessness and external influence of the mind will have no effect on it.
Girish Ji also appealed to the members of the Maharishi Family to ensure that the keeping with the tradition, we must promote Vedic Science and Transcendental Meditation across the world.
After the address of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Dr. Prakash Joshi - Vice President-Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan, Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma-Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, Col. (Retd.) Dr. T.P.S.Kandra, Vice Chancellor of MMYIM&T also addressed the gathering and dedicated all the achievements of their department at the lotus feet of Shri Gurudev Ji and His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji.
In the second session, the Bhajan program was presented by eminent Bhajan singer Raju Das, renowned Tabla player Pandit Anup Ghosh, eminent keyboardist- Shashikant Chobe, and renowned Spanish guitarist- Yashojit Biswas group. Hearing the hymns, everyone in the audience became mesmerised and ecstatic. Heads and directors of various Maharishi institutions, principals, teachers, and a large number of students were also present on the occasion. The program was telecast live through Ramraj TV.
