Consciousness is very important in life: Brahmachari Girish Ji
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The 106th birth anniversary of His Holiness Maharshi Mahesh Yogi Ji was celebrated as 'Gyan Yug Diwas' at Maharishi Utsav Bhawan, Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Chhan, Bhojpur Mandir Road, Bhopal under the leadership of Brahmachari Girish Ji, the head of Maharishi Group of Educational Institutions on Thursday with great fervor and religious gaiety amidst chanting of Vedic mantras.
While presiding over the program, Brahmachari Girish Ji, said that "Maharishi Ji's birthday is an excellent occasion for members of the Maharishi World Family to celebrate, congratulate each other, and thank His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji for the knowledge of Transcendental Meditation. We are grateful to him and we all deserve to be congratulated because the whole world has got joy and happiness because of Maharishi Ji. Maharishi introduced millions of people around the world to the Indian Vedic knowledge tradition, which brought them happiness, joy and achievement. And through the Transcendental Meditation program, there was an awakening of consciousness all over the world. The whole world will always be indebted to him for these works."
Brahmachari Girish Ji said that consciousness is the field of all possibilities. It is also the home of all the laws of nature. Consciousness is at the core of our body. It also conducts our life, if it is lacking in our body and life then that body has no value. Maharishi Ji attained knowledge for 13 years from Brahmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj. He traveled to about 124 countries and spread the knowledge of the Indian Vedic knowledge tradition and transcendental meditation.
Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Ji further said that the credit for establishing yoga on the world stage also goes to Maharishi ji. Earlier people did not know about its 40 areas of yoga. Maharishi gave a detailed explanation of these 40 areas of yoga and gave its knowledge to the world. Maharishi Ji believed in the principle of 'the world is my family'. Maharishi Ji said that if even a single person is not prosperous and happy then it is a matter of sorrow for the whole world. Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha are the birthright of everyone. Maharishi Ji made a deep study of the Vedas and wrote thousands of books and articles on almost every subject of life for the welfare of the people and the establishment of peace in the world. His old videos and articles are a unique gift to the entire mankind.
Expressing his views on today's seminar "Role of politics in the establishment of world peace", Brahmachari Ji said that it is mentioned in our Vedic literature and history and proved that world peace is possible even through politics. A video was played on this occasion, in which Maharishi Ji gave his views on politics, explaining this video, Girish Ji said that politics should be such that the king arranges for each of his subjects in the same way as a father does for his son. A Guru always wants to see his disciple higher than himself and a father always wants to see his son ahead of himself. Similarly, the king should keep his subjects above himself. This is the Vedic administration system. Rigveda is called the constitution of the universe. If every government adjusts its system according to the laws of nature, there will never be any shortage in any field.
Earlier, the first day of Gyan Yug Diwas celebrations started with Guru Parampara Pujan, Shanti Path, and the welcoming of guests by Maharishi Vedic Pandits. After this Ganesh Vandana was presented by the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Ratanpur. On this occasion, a seminar was organised on the theme "Role of Politics in Establishing World Peace".
Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti, Shri Vishwas Sarang, Cabinet Minister of MP Government, Medical Education, Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief & Rehabilitation and Shri Rameshwar Sharma, MLA from Huzur Vidhan Sabha constituency graced the occasion with their brilliant speeches.
On this occasion, along with distinguished guests Brahmachari Ji released Gyan magazine, E-Gyan monthly newsletter, Maharishi World Peace Movement’s newsletter, Maharishi Panchang 2023, Table Calendar and Maha Media Magazine of January month. Girish Ji also wished everyone a Happy New Year, the New Year calendar for the Maharishi family begins with the Gyan Yug Diwas (Age of Enlightenment Day).

The two-day Gyan Yug Diwas celebration programme will conclude on Friday with a ‘Bharajamrit’ of renowned playback singer Vidhi Sharma. Along with Vidhi Sharma, globally acclaimed tabla maestro and composer Pandit Anoop Ghosh, renowned percussionist Satish Kumar Solanki and keyboardist Pawan Kumar will enthrall the audience.
The two-day Gyan Yug Divas celebrations will be telecast live on various social media platforms of Ramraj TV.
