Maharishi Institute hosts Gyanamrit Satsang on Akshay Tritiya
BHOPAL (Maha Media): Under the divine blessings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and the guidance of Brahmachari Girish Ji, head of the Maharishi Institute, the Gyanamrit Satsang for the third Thursday of the month was successfully organized today. The event took place at the Maharishi Vedic Sanskritik Kendra in Bhopal.
Acharya Nilimp Tripathi from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya graced the occasion as the guest speaker. Prior to the discourse, a collective Transcendental Meditation session was held from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM. Following the meditation, the discussion and Q&A session took place from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
This time, the discourse centered on the significance of "Akshay Tritiya." Acharya Nilimp Tripathi highlighted the importance of Akshaya Tritiya, stating that any auspicious deeds performed on this day yield imperishable results, hence the name. While the Shukla Paksha Tritiya of all twelve months is considered auspicious, the date in the month of Vaishakh is regarded as one of the self-established auspicious times.
It is also believed that receiving blessings from others on Akshaya Tritiya through good conduct and virtues remains eternal. The worship of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi is considered particularly fruitful on this day. Actions and good deeds performed on this day are believed to be imperishable. Any work commenced on Akshaya Tritiya or donations made on this day never diminish.
