
Maharishi Parikrama-2 commences from Jabalpur
JABALPUR [Maha Media]: The much-anticipated Maharishi Parikrama-2 commenced with great enthusiasm and spiritual fervor this Saturday morning from Sanskardhani Jabalpur. The auspicious journey, set to culminate in Prayagraj on April 27, 2025, witnessed the convergence of dedicated Parikrama members from various states across the nation. The initiative is being held under the benevolent grace of Vedic Gurudev and the divine guidance of Brahmachari Girish ji, the esteemed Chairman of Maharishi Educational Institutions.
The inaugural day began with a sacred Guru Puja at the Maharishi Vidya Mandir located on Narmada Road in Jabalpur. Following the reverent ceremony, the Parikrama members received a warm and grand welcome from the Principal of the institution, Shri Rajesh Narula, along with the dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students. In his address, Shri Narula expressed his delight in hosting the Parikrama members, describing their visit as a source of joy and extending his heartfelt best wishes for their spiritual journey.
Further enriching the morning session, Shri Rakesh Pandeyji shed light on the profound efforts and impactful programs undertaken by the revered Maharishi ji over the years in his unwavering pursuit of global peace. The program coordinator, Shri R.S. Patwariji, then provided the assembled members with comprehensive details regarding the itinerary and objectives of the Parikrama in the days to come, setting the stage for the spiritual expedition ahead.
The afternoon saw the Parikrama members immerse themselves in the natural splendor surrounding Jabalpur. They embarked on a delightful exploration of Panchvati, the breathtaking Bhedaghat, and the world-renowned Dhuandhar waterfall, where the majestic Narmada River plunges down in a misty cascade.
Continuing their exploration of the region's rich heritage, the group then visited the intriguing Balancing Rock, perched precariously on the hills of Madan Mahal, followed by a visit to the historic Rani Durgavati Fort, a testament to the valor of the legendary queen. Their spiritual journey continued with a visit to the revered Maa Sharda Temple, a significant pilgrimage site in the region.
Upon their return to Jabalpur, the Parikrama members proceeded to Maharishi Vidya Mandir Jabalpur 1, where they engaged in rejuvenating sessions of Pranayam and Transcendental Meditation, further deepening their inner peace and spiritual connection.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the soul-stirring Aarti of Maa Narmada ji. At 7:00 PM, the entire group reached Gaurighat in Jabalpur, where meticulous arrangements had been made for the sacred ritual by the Principal of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Jabalpur 5, Mrs. Sneh Chaturvedi. The collective chanting and the serene ambiance of the Aarti left an indelible mark on the hearts of all the Parikrama members.
Overwhelmed with joy and spiritual fulfillment, the members described the day's experiences as "priceless moments" that they would forever cherish. The first day of the Maharishi Parikrama-2 concluded with a focused discussion on the action plan for the second day, setting the tone for the continued spiritual journey towards Prayagraj.
