Sri Sri Ravi Shankar visits Maharishi Ashram in Prayagraj
PRAYAGRAJ (Maha Media): Spiritual leader Sri Sri 1008 Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living Foundation, recently visited the Maharishi Ashram and Maharishi Smarak at Sangamtat Prayagraj. He was welcomed by Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish and Vedic pundits with shawls, garlands, and sweets.
Brahmachari Girish presented Sri Sri with his book, "Brahmachari Girish under the Divine Umbrella of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi," and the Maharishi Organization's annual magazine, "Gyan 2025." Sri Sri reciprocated the gesture by honoring Brahmachari Girish with a shawl and garland.
Sri Sri performed Guru Parampara Pujan at the Maharishi Smarak, where Brahmachari Girish provided details about the memorial. During his address, Sri Sri spoke of his long association with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, praising his work in bringing Indian Vedic knowledge and Transcendental Meditation to the world. He also expressed his admiration for the continuation of Maharishi's work by Brahmachari Girish. Sri Sri conveyed his pleasure at visiting the Maharishi Smarak.
