Vedic Recitation and Cultural Festivities Shine at Maharshi Ashram

PRAYAGRAJ [Maha Media]: On Monday, January 27th, 2025, a grand Vedic recitation and havan ceremony was organised at Maharshi Ashram, located on the banks of the Sangam in Arrail, Prayagraj. The event, held during the ongoing Maha Kumbh, was honored by the esteemed presence of Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, a devoted disciple of the renowned Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji. The atmosphere was filled with reverence as a congregation of learned Vedic pandits engaged in the powerful recitation of the Rudrashtadhyayi, performing the spiritual and auspicious chant 1,331 times, united in their heartfelt prayers for the well-being and harmony of the entire world.

In addition to the profound recitations, Maharshi Ashram hosts enriching spiritual sessions every afternoon, featuring the Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha. This enlightening storytelling experience is being passionately led by the esteemed Acharya Badrish Ji Maharaj, whose captivating narration and expressive style bring the timeless teachings of the Bhagwat Mahapuran to life.

From January 29th to February 4th, 2025, those attending the Maha Kumbh will have another delightful opportunity as the renowned storyteller Acharya Shri Krishnadas Ji Maharaj will be narrating the divine and heroic tale of Lord Rama. This retelling of the Ramayana will take place daily from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Yesterday evening, students from Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Prayagraj Naini presented a colorful cultural program at Maharishi Ashram. V.R. Khare, Director of CPR, welcomed the students and Principal Pooja Chandola. The program began with a Saraswati Vandana, followed by a beautiful dance performance to a patriotic song. Subsequent to this, the Karnamrit dance was performed, accompanied by a speech on Republic Day delivered by the MVM Naini students. Following this inspiring speech, the students presented another spirited dance performance, titled "Desh Mera Desh Mera," which further enchanted the audience and underscored their deep love for their country.

The cultural evening culminated in a magnificent display of the rich tapestry of Indian culture and tradition, as the girls from MVM performed a delightful dance that captivated all present, showcasing a variety of vibrant costumes and traditional dance forms.
