Navratri Mahotsav begins with Shri Sahasrachandi Mahayagya at Maharishi Sansthan

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: With the Divine blessing of Param Pujya Anant Shri Vibhushit Jyotishpeethadhishwar Shankaracharya, Swami Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Badrika Ashram, Himalaya and the divine inspiration of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and special presence of Hon’ble Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the nine-day Shardiya Navratri Mahotsav began today with Shri Sahasrachandi Mahayagya at Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Chhan, Bhojpur Mandir Road, Bhopal. 

On Monday morning, Shri Sahasrachandi Mahayagya started with Ghatsthapana Pujan and Panchopachara Puja which witnessed a large number of participation of devotees. Thereafter Shri Chandi Path and Havan were held with the recitation of Mantra by 100 Vedic Pandits of Maharishi Organisation. 

On this auspicious occasion of Shardiya Navratri Mahotsav, Shri Devi Bhagvat Katha Amrit Pravah are being held at Maharishi Vedic Cultural Centre, E-7 Arera Colony Bhopal, and will be continued for nine days till 3 October. The Katha was recited by Nilimp Tiparthi, Prof. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidhyalaya. The Katha started with ‘Pooja Archana’ of ‘Vyas Gaddi’ and a traditional welcome by Maharishi Vedic Pundits. The Katha will be held every day from 6 pm to 8.30 pm. A Free Ayurvedic health camp was also organized at Maharishi Ayurved Chikitsa and Panchkram Kendra. Free consultation and checkups will be done by Mudhusudhan Deshpande and Prof. Ved Shri Bharat Chouragade.

This nine-day-long Navratri festival will end with Vijayadashami on October 4, which will be celebrated at Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vidyapeeth, Chhan, Bhojpur Mandir Road, Bhopal at 7: 30 pm.

On 5th October, Maharishi Organisation will organise a grand Bhajan Sandhya programme by Aruna Paranjpe and Group at Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Chhan, Bhojpur Mandir Road, Bhopal from 4 pm to 6 pm.
